Simon Zabell participa en la exposición “”,  muestra en la que se plantea que la pintura, pese a lo que pudiera fijar el tópico de lo moderno, sigue siendo ese ámbito de lo que se piensa a sí mismo como resistente, y eso es algo que distingue a la pintura actual de la del siglo XX: su lucha por seguir fiel a sí misma, a pesar de todo.
